Fetal therapy

Treatment before birth, carried out at Pearl, in a small number of conditions.

A small number of conditions can be treated before birth rather than after. These are uncommon situations, and the decisions are made jointly with specialist centres.

How these decisions are made

Fetal therapy covers a narrow range of specific conditions. Where one is suspected, the diagnosis is confirmed carefully before anything is proposed, and you are given time to take it in rather than being asked to decide the same day.

These procedures are carried out at Pearl by Dr. Jigna Jasoliya. For a small number of highly specialised interventions the right place is a tertiary fetal medicine centre, and where that is the case we will say so and arrange it. Referring on when it is the right thing to do is part of the job, not an admission of anything.

What it costs

Fetal therapy — charges
ItemCostNotes
Assessment, counselling and treatment₹2,000–2,00,000The range is this wide because these are very different procedures. You get a written estimate before anything is agreed, and nothing is done without it.

Charges at Pearl Women's Super Speciality Hospital and IVF/ICSI Center as of September 2026. You are told what anything costs before it is done, and nothing is billed that you have not agreed to.

Questions we are asked most

Will everything be done here?

In most cases, yes — fetal therapy is carried out at Pearl. A small number of highly specialised interventions belong at a tertiary fetal medicine centre, and if yours is one of them we will say so plainly and arrange it rather than attempt it here.
