Your rights as a patient
These are the things you are entitled to expect at Pearl. If any of them is not happening, say so — at the desk, or to the grievance officer.
You have the right to
Be treated with respect and privacy, whatever your background, religion, caste or ability to pay.
Have a female attendant present during any examination, without having to ask twice.
Know the name and qualification of the doctor treating you.
Have your condition, the proposed treatment, the alternatives and the risks explained in a language you understand, and to have that in writing.
Know what something will cost before it is done, and to receive an itemised bill.
Refuse any test or treatment, including after you have agreed to it, without your other care being affected.
Seek a second opinion, and to be given copies of your records to take to it.
Have your information kept confidential.
Complain, and to be told what came of the complaint.
What we ask of you
Tell us your history honestly, including medicines and treatments from elsewhere. Treat our staff with the same respect you expect. Keep or cancel appointments so the slot can go to someone else.
If something goes wrong
Speak to the front desk first — most things are resolved there the same day. If that does not settle it, ask for the grievance officer: Kishan Vansjaliya (Administrator), pearlwomens@gmail.com, +91 63534 79052.
We do not discuss any patient's clinical details in public, including in replies to online reviews. If you raise something publicly we will ask you to contact us directly, and that is why.
