Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Pearl Women's Hospital collects through this website, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the website only; the notice you are given at the front desk covers your medical records.
What this website collects
If you fill in the call-back form we collect your name, your mobile number, the service you asked about and your preferred time to call. That is all the form asks for and all it stores.
The form deliberately has no field for symptoms, history or reports. Please do not send clinical information through it — it is for arranging a call, nothing else.
We also collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, and which device they use. This is not linked to your name.
Why, and on what basis
Your name and number are used for one purpose: to call you back about the request you made. We rely on the consent you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by telling us, and we will stop.
We do not add call-back requests to any marketing list. We do not send promotional messages to numbers collected this way.
Who sees it
The front-desk team at Pearl, and the consultant if the request is passed on. Nobody outside the hospital. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
The website is hosted by our hosting provider and analytics are processed by Google. Neither receives your call-back form entries for their own use.
How long we keep it
Call-back requests are deleted after 90 days if you do not go on to book an appointment. If you do become a patient, your details move into your medical record, which is governed by the record-keeping rules that apply to hospitals.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw consent. Write to us or call and we will act on it.
You may also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. You can block these in your browser and the site will work normally.
Grievance officer
If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, contact the grievance officer at Kishan Vansjaliya (Administrator), pearlwomens@gmail.com, +91 63534 79052. We will respond within the period required by law.
